"Should I buy one? Absolutely. With the Panda’s inherent abilities, the 100HP’s cheeky character and a temptingly affordable £9,995 price it’s a no-brainer."

"So, can Fiat build a modern car that serves up all the thrills of old? If the new Panda 100HP is anything to go by, the answer has to be a resounding yes. Fans of the famous brand have a model to be proud of."

In a unexpected if welcome turn, the motoring press in Britain had a lot of nice things to say about the 100HP. Even the most mainstream of magazines (with their usual fixation on depreciation and soft-touch plastics) warmly received this modestly sporty Italian city-car, their diesel jaded palettes tickled by the 'oldskool' charm of an eager revving engine and nimble chuckability. To be fair, the Panda already had a good reputation but a 'warm' version could easily have been a car snob's joke. Fortunately FIAT got it just about right. A modern package that doesn't cost the Earth and is a hoot to drive; what could be better? But decide for yourself and after reading these reviews, remember them during your test drive...
