Welcome, benvenuto, bienvenue! © 2006 Although development mules had been driven by the press as early as December 2003 it wasn't until July 2006 that the first undisguised photographs emerged from the home of the Panda, FIAT’s Tychy plant in Poland. The moniker it bore 'Panda Sport' subsequently became - with disarming candour - 'Panda 100HP'. Whether you are new to FIAT or already a dedicated 'fiatista', I hope you'll find something to turn you on to this little Italian gem. In car action and on-line reviews In October 2006, the FIAT Panda 100HP made its international debut at the Mondial de L’Automobile in Paris. With development overseen by Lorenzo Baroso, it came as the first of the 2007 model year Pandas, the mid-life refresh of the car that won European Car Of The Year in 2004. The 100HP was released in Britain in December 2006 and was welcomed with unusual enthusiasm by the press. Is the 'cento cavalli' not for you?
